Query to search for common elements in two separate collections.

I'm trying to work out the most efficient way to build a query that can compare two collections for identical members. Something like: "SELECT o FROM Object o WHERE o.someCollection CONTAINS MEMBER OF :someCollection" Is something like this possible in the JPA spec? ... use some sort of hash function for the collections and to retrieve candidate collections by identical hash code. Candidate collections ...

Finance data from SQL Server into ObjectDB daily

Hello -   I think ObjectDB might be just the solution for our current project but I would like some feedback from the community to see if I'm thinking about it right.   We have a finance data mart that is appended to daily via an SSIS package. I would like to pull the data from SQL, add it to a bean and store it in the ObjectDB. This would all happen in an automated fashion. Does this make sense? Is there a way to map the structure of the table directly into ObjectDB from SQL Server?   ... to ObjectDB but you can use other JPA implementations to retrieve data from RDBMS tables and then use the same JPA entity classes to ... to ObjectDB but you can use other JPA implementations to retrieve data from RDBMS tables and then use the same JPA entity classes to ...

Bidirectional OneToMany is slow on updated items

Hello, I have a problem with the following situation. I insert persons with addresses. In the first run, they are all new with a new address. It runs fast. In the second run, the persons are all loaded and got a second address. This seams to be much slower. The Entities are all enhanced by the javaagent (which you can see in the contained eclipse launch configuration) Is there any way to speed it up?       #1 2013-02-22 10:02 Hello, I have a problem with the following situation.
