Problem with @OrderBy

When I use @OrderBy and supply multiple order fields I get and error when ObjectDB loads that entity. Performance with large databases

When populating a large database (10s of GBs) performance drops suddenly at a certain time whenever I run the populating application.  Is there typically a database size when indexes can no longer be held fully in memory or some such issue?  The method calls that suddenly start to take the most time are those that retrieve data from the store. ... or some such issue?  The method calls that suddenly start to take the most time are those that retrieve data from the store. ...

Persistent domain in Scala or Java...

Hi Folks, I am starting a new project which will be primarily written in Scala.  I need to choose a persistence mechanism for the domain model.  I have the option to write the domain in Java if that provides access to richer transparent persistence support. My preference would be JPA.  Are there strong JPA-like libraries for Scala, or should I be considering Scala-specific persistence or using Java for the domain to take advantage of JPA / ObjectDB etc. All input greatly appreciated, Kind regards, Robin. #1 2017-02-20 15:12 Hi Folks, I am starting a new project which will be primarily written in Scala.  I need to choose a ...

Free ObjecDB license for Open Source project

I'm just starting to work on small Open Source project. Currently I'm selecting suitable persistence layer. ObjectDB looks like a very good fit, but I can't justify buying license for 500$. Also we can't restrict ourselves for 10 entities :).   So I wonder if it's possible to gain some kind of less restrictive ObjectDB license for Open Source project.  Thank you for your answer.   #1 2013-11-14 08:25 I'm just starting to work on small Open Source project.
