ClassCastException of same object type

I have ObjectDB partially working with my project. At the moment it seems to be saving objects and retrieving objects ok in the main project. However, when I make a plugin for the project, the new objects are persisted but not retrieved. I get the following error: java.lang.ClassCastException: org.sportscoring.ssv.xc.core.XCCompetitorCount cannot be cast to org.sportscoring.ssv.xc.core.XCCompetitorCount ... earlier. The method fails in the line in bold, ie at the start of the for loop. If however, I change the method to look like: ...

ObjectDB CRUD Examples

Any place where I can find Netbeans examples for the basic create, read, update, delete methods using the EntityManager? i.e. public void create(Foo foo) {} public Foo read(Integer id) {} public List<Foo> read() {} public void update(Foo foo) {} public void delete(Foo foo) {} ... makes it difficult as this is really the only place to start... edit ...

Sorting problem

Hi, I was rewriting our DAO to support pagging in large dataset and I think I have found a problem with sorting. I send you a test case - sorry for using the same project as previous, but it was faster to write this test case. As usual, you can load data with DataLoader and then check problem with QueryData. There is a simple query with "order by" sentence: ... public List<Product> list ( int start, int count, String sortColumn, boolean isAscending ) ...

Too many persistable types (>10) - exceeds evaluation limit

Hi, I am trying to evaluate and compare ObjectDB to other persistence solution for a project. At the moment I am trying to read in data written previously with JDO. As I am testing many frameworks and want to automate as much of the testing as possible I am using two persistence units for this and get a JdoDataStoreException: Too many persistable types (>10) - exceeds evaluation limit... Even though I define only 10 entites in the persistenceFile. Has this something to do with the fact that I have to persistence units? ... is written correctly as far as I can tell. When I start reading the data the error occurs. For finding the error I even ...
