ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1

I've attached a test which fails with the error "ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1". It runs 10 threads which create and persist objects. The objects are based on application objects so its not a single class test I'm afraid but it is standalone. I'm running as follows: java -classpath objectdb.jar;test.jar PersistTest I've attached the test jar, a jar containing the source and the odjectdb.conf. File lock exception on odb$

Not sure if this is an objectdb issue or not but I thought I'd raise it just in case. We had a server failure which caused an unexpected reboot. As a result, the application services which use objectdb were not shutdown properly which in turn meant we had several odb$ files left behind. I had assumed that objectdb would reprocess these when the services restarted but instead we got the exception below. Bug Version: 2.3.7 Priority: Normal Status: Fixed Replies: 7 Type:  Bug ...

InternalException during producer/consumer scenario

Hi, I'm trying to use objectdb in a producer/consumer scenario. Producer threads put message objects into a table while consumer threads remove the objects based on age, priority, etc. There are 2 main motivations for using objectdb for this purpose rather than a queue or similar data structure: 1) The consumer can select the "next" object based on a range of potentially complex criteria. 2) The number of objects produced can be potentially exceed available memory so can be held on disk within the objectdb file. How force always recreate database on redeployment.

Is there some easy way to force recreation/deletion of the current database on deployment of a web application (to Glassfish). My web application uses a @Singleton @Startup bean to create and persist a test model each run. I keep getting models on top of each other on rerunning my web application. Currently, to avoid multiple models in the database, I have to undeploy from Glassfish, stop the server, delete the database file, re-start the objectdb server, re-run the web app, which is tedious. ... Should I use ObjectDB and JDO?

My application is not meeting required performance because JavaDB appears to be my bottleneck.  I require a faster DB.  Surveying the Internet lead me to believe that ObjectDB might be just what I am looking for (to achieve MUCH faster database access).  But, I have a few concerns.   #1 2016-07-09 15:19 My application is not meeting required performance because JavaDB appears to be my bottleneck.  I require a ...
