JPA Named Queries

A named query is a statically defined query with a predefined unchangeable query string. Using named queries instead of dynamic queries may improve code organization by separating the JPQL query strings from the Java code. It also enforces the use of query parameters rather than embedding literals

java.sql.Date equals comparison not working with CriteriaAPI

(root.get("eintritt"), builder.literal(myDate)); Doing exactly the same on the same DB in the DB ... be able to use a new build, try as a workaround to replace the date literal with a date parameter. After further investigation of this issue, it seems that criteria queries work well with literal dates
