Fluent JPA & ObjectDB

Good day to you, I am looking to port my Java applications to rely on ObjectDB from MySQL & PostgreSQL. Kindly advise whether the installations would be able to work with FluentJPA (https://github.com/streamx-co/FluentJPA) as it would make life a bit easier for my team and I. Regards name256 Abel

auto-generated uuid fields

Hello, we're porting a JDO application to ObjectDB which uses uuid-hex generated values. However the page on generated values in your JPA tutorial only mentions numeric generated values, and when we try to use it the error message seems to imply that auto-generating strings isn't supported

Broken @ManyToOne reference

(which seems to extend basic JPA). However, you would probably need to change some parts in your application as well, in order to port it to ObjectDB. support Support

JDO PersistenceManager.getSequence() returns null sometimes

() and currentValue() work as expected - thanks! That will certainly help us port our code to ObjectDB

Getting Started

ObjectDB is very easy to use. Follow the Getting Started Tutorial and the Quick Tour manual chapter and in minutes you may be able to write and run first Java programs against ObjectDB.

Prior knowledge or experience in database programming (SQL, JDBC, ORM, JPA, etc.) is not required, but some background in using the Java language is essential.
