Server out of memory exceptions

the server at anyone time - if you're seeing more then it sounds like the threads are not exiting ... each time I've changed it to clean up properly and also to open/close the EntityManagerFactory in ... 2mb in size so at one msg per thread there should be around 30mb of data in play at any one time
