  PersistenceCapable pc,
  int field,
  Object currentValue,
  Object newValue
)

Mark the field as modified by the user.
Parameters:
pc - the calling PersistenceCapable instance
field - the field number
currentValue - the current value of the field
newValue - the proposed new value of the field
