Java FX tableview fill with an aggregated query

#1

Dear ObjectDB,

Can someone give me a tip, to make the aggregated query work.

I am filling a tableview with a normal query "SELECT p From Recept p, with no problem.
But when I trying to fill a tableview with an aggregated query :
"SELECT SUM(getValue()) AS value ,getUnit() AS unit,getName() AS name From Ingredients i\n"
+ "WHERE getReceptId() IN (" + pstrReceptIDs +") \n"
+ "GROUP BY getUnit(),getName()";

In the ObjectDB explorer the query works just fine.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

I am getting an error in filling the tableview:

It is unclear why the query works fine in the Explorer and fails in your JavaFX application. Since you are using methods in your query, maybe the Explorer and your application have different versions of your classes.

Anyway, it is highly recommended to use fields rather than methods in queries, when possible, and this might also solve this exception.
